Learning German

I am looking to learn a foreign language. Why should I learn German?

If you are thinking about learning a new language, German will certainly be an excellent choice. German is a very distinctive language and has an enormous cultural heritage. Knowledge of German can increase your job opportunities with German and foreign companies in India and abroad. It is the second most commonly used scientific language and is the language of Goethe, Kafka, Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. Last but not the least, Germany awards a generous number of scholarships and other support to study in Germany. Knowing German will only increase your chances of winning a scholarship!

I am going to Germany within the next two months. How much can I learn?

If you attend a weekend batch, you will be able to complete our A1.1 course, which is the first half of the beginners’ level A1. On completing the level A1, a student can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type; introduce himself/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has; and interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. For more details about the levels, please refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

If you are a group of 5 or more students with the same requirement, we can customize an intensive course for you to help you cover the best you can subject to your availability. We will weave in elements of intercultural skills to provide you a good functional knowledge of the language. This will be a good survival kit for you in Germany.
